The terms for using Velven.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Velven. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Browsing and playing need no account. Listing a space on Velven, commenting, joining rooms, adding friends and posting scores under your handle need one. Publishing without an account makes an unlisted page, as described below. If you use Velven for an organisation, you agree to these terms on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and keep your agent and CLI tokens private: you are responsible for everything done with your account and its tokens. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

Your handle is your public name and address on Velven. Velven may take back or change a handle that impersonates someone, uses another's trademark, or misleads people.

You can publish a space's files to Velven's hosting, or list a space that runs at its own address. Either way, you confirm that you made it or hold every right needed to put it on Velven, including the rights to its code, art, music, fonts and any other assets in it, that the details you give about it are accurate, and that it follows the content policy.

A hosted version goes live only after Velven's safety check, described in the content policy. A linked space runs on its own host, under that host's terms as well as these.

Velven also lists some public spaces it finds, credited to their creators and marked unclaimed. Their creator can claim the listing and manage it, or have it taken off Velven.

You can publish a space's files without an account. Doing so means you accept these terms, and everything in them applies to what you publish. It makes an unlisted page: a page on velven.ai that goes live after the same safety check, marked unclaimed, that anyone with its link can open but that Velven does not list, rank or show in search.

Velven gives you a claim token with the page. It is the key to the page: whoever holds it can publish new versions to it or claim it, so keep it private. Velven stores only a fingerprint of it and cannot show it to you again.

An unclaimed page is deleted 7 days after its first publish, with its files and everything players saved on it; publishing again does not extend that. To keep it, claim it within those 7 days with an account, using the token. Claiming makes the space yours under these terms and puts it on Velven. To keep the service fair, Velven limits how much can be published without an account from one network address.

Your space stays yours. By putting it on Velven, you give Velven a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, for as long as it is on Velven, to:

• host, store, copy, serve, frame and display it, and run it for players on Velven;
• add the Velven SDK tag to it and make the technical changes needed to serve it;
• take screenshots, captures and short clips of it, and use them with its title, description and your handle on Velven and to promote Velven and your space, including on social media.

You can hide or delete a space at any time. Velven then stops showing it within a reasonable time. Copies in backups can take longer to clear, and promotion already published before you removed it may stay up.

Comments, room chat, scores, saves, a status line a space shows your friends, and the content you upload through a space (levels, replays, maps and the like) are yours, and you are responsible for them. They must follow the content policy.

You give Velven a licence to host, store and show what you post where you posted it, and you give the space's creator the right to use it in their space as its features intend, for example letting others play a level you shared. Public content can be seen by anyone; private content only by you. Room chat reaches everyone in the room, and a room's host can remove a player from it. A space's creator can delete comments on their space and content uploaded to it, and Velven can delete anything.

Everything the content policy rules out, and also:

• breaking the law or someone else's rights;
• showing Velven's safety check something different from what players get, or changing a live space to get round it;
• attacking, overloading or probing Velven or anyone's space, or getting past Velven's limits, rate caps or access controls;
• faking plays, likes, reports or scores, or using automation to move rankings;
• collecting other people's information from Velven without their permission;
• harassing, threatening or impersonating anyone, Velven included, and spam.

Velven offers an SDK, an agent API, a command-line tool and an MCP server for building on it. Use them as the documentation describes. Keep your tokens and your space's secret private: what is done with them is done by you.

What Velven gives your space about a player (their account ID, handle and avatar, their scores and saves) may be used only to run your space for them. Do not sell it or use it to contact them elsewhere.

Velven may set limits on these tools, change or retire them, and turn off access that is misused. The SDK's code is published under its own open-source licence, which governs the code; these terms govern your use of Velven through it.

Velven may remove, hide or refuse any space, version, comment or content, and may suspend or close any account, at any time and with or without notice, including when it believes something breaks these terms, puts players or Velven at risk, or when the law requires it. Velven closes the accounts of repeat infringers, as the takedown page explains.

You can delete your account at any time in settings: it takes your spaces off Velven and deletes your profile, scores, saves and uploads, and the files of the spaces you published on Velven 30 days later. The sections on licences already given, warranty, liability and indemnity continue after an account is closed.

Spaces are made by their creators, not by Velven. Velven does not review every space in full and is not responsible for what a space does or says, or for the sites it links to. If something is wrong, use Feedback on the space's page.

Velven is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Velven makes no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that hosted files, scores, saves or content will be kept. Keep your own copies of what you publish.

To the extent the law allows, Velven is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Velven, even if told they were possible. Velven's total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of 100 US dollars and the amount you paid Velven in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law there allows.

If someone brings a claim against Velven because of your space, what you posted or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover Velven's reasonable losses and costs from it, legal fees included.

Velven may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and a significant change is announced on Velven before it takes effect. Using Velven after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using Velven and delete your account.
